Electrical Laboratory Building
| Dates: | 1889, demolished c.1951 |
| Location: | Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana (site of Wetherill Laboratory of Chemistry) |
| Architect: | James F. Alexander, of Lafayette, Indiana |
| Contractor: | Adam Herzog & Co. |
| Cost: | $48,900 |
| Additions: | 1906 (R. P. Daggett & Co., of Indianapolis, architects) |
This building was very similar to LaFayette High School which J. F. Alexander designed that same year. The stone of the first floor and brick of the upper stories appear to be similar in color in the black-and-white photographs, but tinted postcards are inconsisten in their coloring. The building was demolished c.1951 when the Wetherill Laboratory of Chemistry was expanded.
